FIRST Scholarship

Level/Field of Study: The scholarship is open to high school graduating seniors for a full-time undergraduate study at RU. Scholarship Worth: This scholarship grants successful students $5,000 per year for a maximum of four years. To be considered, the candidate must have participated in one of the FIRST Robotics competition teams or the FIRST Tech Challenge team before attending to Rutgers. In addition, the candidate must have been admitted to the RU. Only students who intend to attend Rutgers full-time will be considered for this scholarship. In addition, they need a letter of recommendation from the adult who supervised the FIRST project. RU September 11th Memorial Scholarship

To commemorate the brave men and women who died in the September 11 attacks, Rutgers University has created this scholarship. To qualify, the candidate must be in the care of a resident of New Jersey who died on September 11 as a result of the attack. Level/Field of Study: For this scholarship, only students who have been accepted at the undergraduate level and who are studying for their first university degree will be considered. Continuing Student Scholarships

Students who have completed their first year at Rutgers and are looking for additional funding to be interested in scholarships for continuing education students. Level/Field of Study: These scholarships are only available to students of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences. The Continuing Student Scholarship awards are very competitive and the students have to be invited to apply. Scholarship Worth: Successful students are awarded $1,000 to cover the tuition. To apply, students must have a grade point average of 3.7, plan to be enrolled at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences in the fall or is currently enrolled at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences. In addition to academic excellence, the committee also wants to reward students who have written compelling essays and done charitable work in Rutgers or the surrounding community.
