The university aims to assist international students who require financial assistance with scholarships specifically for Iranian students. The university is ranked 97th in the world and 15th in the UK according to the 2015-16 Times Higher Education World University Rankings. There are high entrance requirements for masters degree programs at Sheffield which reflect the quality of the university. Applicants may be required to take an internationally recognized English language test such as IELTS.

Scholarship Award:

Eligibility:

The Scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit and the supporting statement. The final decision will be made by an academic panel.-To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must be self-funding and classed as ‘Overseas’ for fee purposes and an Iranian national or permanently domiciled in Iran,

 Students of Iran are eligible to apply for these scholarships.

College Admission Requirement:

Applicants must have a good undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification. Three years to five years’ postgraduate work experience. This should include appropriate experience as a manager or in a supervisory role and on occasion, the university may consider delegates without a first degree but with significant management experience English Language Requirements: Applicants may be required to take an internationally recognized English language test such as IELTS. Applicants need IELTS 7.0 with no component below 6.

How to Apply: 

All students who are eligible for a scholarship and have accepted their offer before the closing date will be automatically considered. If students wish to be considered for this scholarship they need to apply online, the application link will be distributed to eligible students by email from January onwards. Applicants cannot apply for the scholarship before being offered a study place at Sheffield.
