About Haryana Scholarship

The Welfare department of the Scheduled Castes & Backward Classes implements various schemes for the Welfare of Schedule Castes & Backward Classes in the State of Haryana. The main function of the Department is to coordinate and supervise the activities of other departments in the matter of implementation of various schemes designed for the Welfare of Scheduled Castes, Backward Classes, and De-notified Tribes.

Haryana  Post Matric Scholarship for SC Students

The Haryana 2022 Post Matric Scholarship for SC Students is available to prospective caste students who are studying in post-Matric classes. The amount of scholarship varies from Rs. 230 to Rs. 1,200 per month in Post- Matric to Post-Graduate classes. However, this scheme has family income criteria. The family income of ST students should not be more than Rs. 2.50 lakh per annum. The Dr. Ambedkar Medhavi Chhattar Sanshodhit Yojna is a scholarship program set up and organized by the Haryana Government’s Welfare of Scheduled Class and Backward Classes. The purpose of this scholarship program is to assist deserving students in planning classes (ST) and reverse classes (BC) with monthly financial support. Haryana POSE Scholarship for BSc Students

Haryana State Council for Science and Technology (HSCST) offers the POSE Scholarship to B.Sc. & M.Sc. students. The purpose of this scholarship is to promote science education. POSE (Promotion of Science Education) Scholarship is provided to Haryana students who opt basic & natural science subjects in the following courses: The selected students under POSE Scholarship will get a monthly scholarship amount of Rs. 4,000 during 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year and Rs. 6000 during the 4th and 5th year. Haryana NMMS for Class 8 Students

Haryana NMMS is a centrally sponsored scholarship that provides financial assistance to the meritorious students of economically weaker sections to continue their studies after Class 8. Students from Haryana studying in Class 8 are eligible to apply for Haryana NMMS 2022 (National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme). There will be two tests, which are the Mental Ability Test (MAT) and the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). Students who get selected under Haryana NMMS will receive a scholarship amount up to Rs. 12,000 per annum (Rs. 1000 per month). The HSCST Scholarship Program is an excellent opportunity for applicants wishing to pursue a Ph.D. at Haryana University. HSCST (State Council for Science and Technology of the State of Haryana) awards research grants to students who have opted for the CSIR-JRF and who possess at least the CSIR-LS NET. The amount of this scholarship is Rs 18,000 per month during the first two years for the research assistant and Rs 21,000 per month for the third year and subsequent years. A student also receives an annual quota of 20000 rupees from the university. Haryana NTSE for Grade 10 Students (General Students)

The Haryana NTSE is a scholarship exam for Grade 10 students. Haryana students studying in grade 10 can register for the Haryana NTSE 2022. The NTSE (National Talent Search Examination) scholarship is in two stages. Students who qualify for the Haryana NTSE must take the NTSE Level 2 exam, which is run by the NCERT. Also, students who win an NTSE scholarship will receive a scholarship amount of Rs 1,250 per month for grades 11 and 12 and Rs 2,000 per month for undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The date of the Haryana NTSE exam is published. The exam will be held on November 4, 2022. Consolidated Stipend Scheme for SC Students, Haryana

The Department of Higher Education, Government of Haryana provides this scholarship and it is available to SC students. To be eligible for this scholarship, however, you must be pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree course from a government-recognized college/university in Haryana. Also, you must make at least 60% attendance in the class. The scholarship provides a monthly stipend of INR 1,000 and a Books purchase allowance of INR 2,000. The application period for this scholarship is between January to February, every year. Also, you will have to apply online for this scholarship through the official website of the Department of Higher Education, Government of Haryana. In the process of applying, however, you will provide a Caste certificate, Haryana domicile certificate, and Certificate of the last examination passed.

Annusuchit Jati Chhatra Ucch Shiksha Protsahan Yojna

This scholarship is available to Scheduled Caste (SC) students and the Welfare of Scheduled Caste and Backward Classes Department, Government of Haryana provides the scholarship. Meanwhile, to be eligible for this scholarship, you must be girl student who has passed class 12. However, you must be pursuing a diploma, graduation, or post-graduation level degree in Commerce, Science or other professional streams. Also, your family’s annual income should be between INR 1 Lakh and INR 2.40 Lakh from all sources. The Annusuchit Jati Chhatra Ucch Shiksha Prostsahan Yojna scholarship provides the following; You will have to apply offline for this scholarship by collecting the form from TWO/DWO. Haryana State Merit Scholarship

This scholarship is provided by the Department of Higher Education, Government of Haryana and it is for all Indian students. However, to be eligible for this scholarship, you must have passed class 12 and are pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate course. You must also be studying in government/ non-government colleges on the basis of merit. And finally, you must have competed in the Punjab or Kurukshetra University or any other examining body’s examination. Over 700 students receive the Haryana State Merit Scholarship. This Indian scholarship provides INR 50 to years of preparation/ higher secondary students; INR 100 to 3-year academic course students, and up to INR 585 to the postgraduate course and above students. The application period is between January and February every year and you can apply offline through your respective head of the institution.
