The Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation Scholarships are one of the most prestigious scholarships for budding and one of the most important budding artists. This is one of the oldest, with an illustrious history of recipients spanning more than half a century. It is also unique in its scope because it is available to students and artists around the world.
About Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation
To date, the Foundation has provided financial support to more than 1,600 students and artists in 40 countries. Members include nationally and internationally renowned artists, as well as highly respected art teachers, teachers, and mentors. The Foundation is very proud of its comrades and their achievements. You will find a selection of the works of former members of the Foundation in the gallery. Grants are awarded solely because of the information contained in the application form and supporting documents. The foundation does not conduct personal interviews. The decision of the foundation is final and can not be examined or challenged.
Eligibility for Scholarship
In order to take part in the scholarships, candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
Candidates must be in the early stages of their career, working in an aim style of painting, drawing, sculpture or printing, demonstrating their desire to make their art career for life.Candidates must be at least 18 years of age when submitting their application.Fellows who have fulfilled the conditions of a grant previously awarded by the Foundation may apply for a second or third grant one year after the grant of their previous grant.Applicants who have already applied for a grant but have not received a grant may reapply after two years.Only candidates who work in a concrete style of painting, drawing, sculpture or printing will be considered. The Foundation does not accept requests from artists, graphic artists, and illustrators. Photographers; cartoonist; animation artist; Videographers, Filmmakers and Digital Artists; artisans; or any artist whose work mainly falls into these categories. The Foundation does not provide funding for pursuiting abstract or non-aim art.

Scholarship Benefits
The first grants are $15,000 each. The following grants are $18,000 each. Other organizations award directly grants are awarded directly to beneficiaries, not by other organizations to beneficiaries, not. The Foundation reserves the right to award grants of another amount and to disburse funds in whole or in part, as deemed desirable. Fellows may receive a maximum of three scholarships during their lifetime.
