Beyonce Homecoming Scholars Program, formerly the Formation Scholars Award program is part of the BeyGOOD Initiative which she awards to Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). What Is the BeyGOOD Initiative?
BeyGOOD is an extension of Beyoncé’s charity initiative. It was originally created during the Mrs. Carter World Tour back in 2013 to help victims of Hurricane Valley. In the course of the tour, BeyGOOD worked with local charities in the cities in which Beyoncé performed to help fundraise and raise awareness for local causes. Since then, the BeyGood Initiative has expanded. Currently, the foundation offers scholarships, DoGood campaigns, and other charitable activities in partnership with some corporate bodies. How Much Do Beyonce Scholarship Winners Receive?

Fisk University
Fisk University is the oldest institution of higher learning in Nashville, Tennessee. Founded in 1866, shortly after the end of the Civil War and just two years after the Emancipation Proclamation, three men — John Ogden, the Reverend Erastus Milo Cravath, and the Reverend Edward P. Smith — established the Fisk School in Nashville. Grambling State University
Grambling State University is in Grambling, Louisiana and was founded in 1901 as the Colored Industrial and Agricultural School. Morehouse College
Morehouse College is located in Atlanta, GA and was founded in 1867 as the Augusta Institute by the Rev. William Jefferson White.
