The conference and training will bring together a dozen experts in international mobility and IaH from Europe and Asia, as well as 20 representatives of ASEAN HEI (in particular the staff of the Office of International Relations) and students. These will be workshops, cooperation sessions, and events including a panel discussion. This conference and training event should also develop a common vision and plan to improve AHV in ASEAN and support international students at participating universities by creating and/or strengthening local student volunteer organizations. The project will also provide a toolkit with practical guidelines and templates to assist higher education institutions and volunteer organizations.

AUTHOR’S RECOMMENDATION
The event will allow the participants to get a comprehensive understanding of the current state of IaH in Asia and Europe through participation in an interactive conference with experts from the two continents.develop their skills, expand their knowledge and share good practices for successful support to international students. The conference and training will be at no cost and the organisers will provide all participants travel allotment of 200€. In addition, the organisers will also cover the accommodation in a youth hostel for the students. Also, all participating HEIs are expected to cover the accommodation costs of their staff representative. University students from ASEAN countries are eligible.However, they will take part in the conference and training event, and will bring back the newly acquired knowledge to their respective institutions.
